Giving Thanks
A National Holiday
Thanksgiving in the United States - November 28, 2013
Thank you to the entire JUWELIS team, clients, partners and mostly to our CEO, Steffen Bastian! --- Evelyn Bernet, COO of JUWELIS Group
Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. It has been an annual tradition since 1863 during the Civil War when Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving a national holiday.
However, the first Thanksgiving was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in 1621. This feast lasted three days and still to this day, most American families serve turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie.
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude you to our clients, partners, employees, investors, donors, friends and extended families for their support and loyalty toward JUWELIS and partners. It means a lot to us.
A personal thank you note goes to Steffen Bastian, CEO of JUWELIS, who traveled this year numerous times to Japan, Hong Kong, to Liberia and USA, back and forth between Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Without Steffen Bastian's tremendous effort throughout this year, we would not have been able to grow JUWELIS in such velocity.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Sincerely,
Evelyn Bernet, COO & Board Member
