Steffen Bastian, president of Human Care Association accepted the invitation to tour the United Methodist Hospital in Ganta, Liberia. After his official visit with the European Delegation in Liberia, he was chauffeured to the very north eastern tip of Liberia. On this long trip, he was able to meet locals and experience first hand Liberia's need of the most basic infrastructure.
At the United Methodist Hospital, Steffen Bastian received a warm welcome of hospital staff who accompanied him on the tour through the facilities. Deeply touched by the lack of supply, equipment and infrastructure, he committed to support the hospital and its team.
